WHEN OPENING LIMA IN FITZROVIA IN 2012 WE WANTED TO SHARE PERUVIAN CUISINE'S UNDISCOVERED SOPHISTICATION. LIMA CANTINA WAS BORN OUT OF A DESIRE TO BRING THE SOUL OF THE PERUVIAN CAPITAL: ITS FLAVOURSOME DAILY LIFE, WITH DISHES DIRECTLY INSPIRED BY MARKETS & HOME COOKED MEALS.

The ‘Pollo a la Brasa’ (Peruvian rotisserie chicken) is arguably the national dish of Peru and possibly the best roast chicken you’ve never heard of.
We marinate our Norfolk chickens for 24 hours in our Chef’s blend of Peruvian herbs and spices. LIMA CANTINA is home to London’s first ‘rotombo’, a traditional Peruvian charcoal-rotisserie oven, where we cook all our chickens to ensure they meet Limeños standards, delicately smoked.
While we encourage you to share these succulent roast chickens, we can’t guarantee you won’t fight over the Aji Amarillo & Huacatay dipping cream…

We’re firing up the rotombo charcoal oven to bring you our signature suckling pig, perfect for sharing. we keep it simple: bit of extra virgin olive oil, rosemary, and fire, roasted over charcoal for beautifully crisp skin and rich, tender meat.
When opening LIMA in Fitzrovia in 2012 we wanted to share Peruvian cuisine's undiscovered sophistication. LIMA CANTINA was born out of a desire to bring the soul of Lima, the city: its flavoursome daily life, with dishes directly inspired by markets & home cooked meals.
We present more traditional / authentic flavours, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced produce simply grilled over charcoal. We are also proud to bring to London the first Peruvian rotisserie oven ‘Rotombo’, for the Tradicional Pollo a la Brasa (Peruvian rotisserie chicken), which has become our best-selling dish!
